Alec Baldwin, known to be sarcastic, belligerent, defensive intellect, articulate ally in times of boredom - becomes harsh and distant as a dejected troublemaker worthy of removal by airline officials.
Yes, he did send updates proclaiming himself as soothsayer for aviation and in-flight industry rehabilitation... and, he did hesitate to accommodate a national symbol recognized by many as a measure of security, safety, even fiscal recovery or weakness in a global divergent economy.
But then, why would anyone trust an actor, even a good one, with reputation and brand management... I know I wouldn't, but American Air (@AmericanAir on Twitter), must have felt particularly inconvenienced that day last December.
We'll 'write it off' to an industry incapacitated by a war, pressured by industry contention so unyielding it incites a burden for a brand to fit in anywhere it can land. We'll assume our media, social media, social networks, and our words sometimes escape unchecked...
... and we'll hope with all our hearts, minds, and, (should frequent flyer miles be awarded as loyal patrons and patriots of this great union) with our unfettered protection and support of services in-flight, or gifted ability on stage, to be unbiased, open-minded, supportive followers.
