Asia today is one of the more popular and better-known furniture-producing regions in the world.

Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, China and India are the Asian countries that export furniture products all over the world, most to Europe and America.

The furniture industries in Asia are and will remain an important part of the business economy in that region of the world. As a result, there are many furniture exhibitions held in Asia that fosters and encourages the growth of furniture business.

One such show is International Furniture Fair Singapore 2010/27th ASEAN Furniture Show (IFFS/AFS 2010).

Started in 1982, the IFFS/AFS 2010 is partly owned by the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) and MP International Pte Ltd. IFFS Pte Ltd’s primary objectives are to organize and manage furniture and furniture-related fairs, exhibitions, shows, conferences and other events worldwide.

This year, the IFFS/AFS 2010 will be held at the Singapore Expo, 1 Expo Drive, Singapore 486150 and will be open from March 9th through the 12th.

The event is expected to draw many furniture buyers from all over the world and is attended by more than 300 companies from 31 countries. The venue features 40,000 square feet of exhibition space, a testament to the fair’s reputation on the global furniture trade scene. Featuring a strong line-up of debut exhibitors and loyal supporters from Singapore and beyond, IFFS/AFS 2010 will see design having a stronger prominence and a wide collection of cutting-edge furniture creations on display.
