Located in Midtown Atlanta, BofA Plaza holds the honor of being the tallest skyscraper in the south, the tallest building in any state capital in the US, and the most recent casualty in this nation's economic malaise. The Bank of America Plaza in Atlanta, Georgia, has 55 stories, was built in 1992, and was originally constructed as commercial office space... but she can be anything she wants to be.
Auctioned off today as having been purchased during pseudo-economic euphoria, whilst having negligible impact on her guardian's portfolio... she cleared the summit of anticipation, but managed a conclusive departure of benefit through investor hostility. Though she rose to the occasion, she languished in commercial consideration... a southern belle's injustice.
Los Angeles-based BentleyForbes wrote her off as lesser value and cleared the way for strategic re-invention of accountability through default. Purchased at the so-called height of investment potential, during a market which claimed structural portability, the $363 million loan for her prosperous if disenchanted betterment, went into default, along with her dignity.
Sold at auction today for a winning bid of $235 million, her value is seen in gold-leaf and glimmer... she has class.
