It's A Charlie Sheen Christmas
Holy lords a leaping! Hollywood badboy Charlie Sheen's outdone himself this time by getting sent to the pokey on Christmas. On one hand, it's surprising the supposedly 'reformed' family man had found himself in trouble again — on the other — this is Charlie Sheen so we should expect nothing less.
According to TMZ, on Christmas morning, a call was made to 911 from Sheen's third wife, Brooke Mueller, about an apparent domestic dispute between the now estranged couple. The estrangement is a new development, but may also be the source of this recent blind item story circulating the tabloids about two weeks ago.
Sheen, who has stayed mostly out of the tabloids for the last couple of years, was arrested for felony menacing, second-degree assault and criminal mischief. Mueller had been staying at a home in Aspen, Colorado for the last three months according to other reports, and Sheen had flown from Los Angeles to see his family for the Christmas holiday. Both Sheen and Mueller were tested for alcohol at the time of the arrest, and Mueller is said to have had a blood alcohol level of .13 and Sheen a .04. The call was made at 8:34am, which I'd say is just about the time we all start drinking on Christmas, so no problem there.
Sheen was booked and held at the Pitkin County Jail but posted an $8500 bail and has since been released. The latest reports state Brooke Mueller is NOT cooperating with police and has recanted her original claims of abuse, so we await further developments.
We may be approaching a new year AND a new decade, however, we still have the same old Charlie Sheen back in action. I am feeling nostalgic!
