Miley Cyrus Says She and Her Boyfriend are "Deeper Than Normal People"

17-year old Disney star Miley Cyrus is the cover girl of Teen Vogue's April edition to promote her new movie, The Last Song. In her interview Miley talks about her romance with her co-star, Australia's Liam Hemsworth, the premise of the film, leaving her popular TV show, Hannah Montana, behind and taking a break from music.

Miley is a tarted up, cheeky, unabashed teen star with zero filters, and perhaps most unsettling, is her acute ability to say the most ridiculously stupid things in interviews.  If Miley is anything, she is consistent — in her ability to embarrass herself through her own brand of pseudo-Southern inarticulation.

Here are the gems from the interview - which seem almost inspired for their ability to be mocked and ridiculed.  Either she's a genius, or the dumbest rich teen ever.

Miley on what the chemistry is between her and Liam:

Yeah. I think we're both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He's very grateful for what he has, but he doesn't let it go to his head. I'm like that too.

Miley on taking a break from her music career:

The more I make music that doesn't truly inspire me, the more I feel like I'm blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I'm taking some time off.

Miley on Liam's inability to sing:

It's refreshing to work with an actor who isn't also a singer and dancer and musician and artist and this and that. I'm sick of quadruple threats who do everything when they should stick to one thing.
