Kevin's Smith's Take on Prayer: He'll Still BURN IN HELL, February 11th on EPIX!
Beneath all that carnivorous "I will conquer online social media platforms and devour them, fans and all," showmanship and mega promotions of his blog, podcasts, comic book store, road trips, Kev is really a sweet guy who believes in God, prays and is faithful to his family. Yes, amidst all that swearing and F#*K this and S@#T that, folks, he does pray.
Just a word. Step over here to my opinion parlor.
This is said sotto voce so religious types can't hear. I really don't believe that such a comic talent and clever wit, one who perceptively touched upon the hypocrisies of certain church dogma in DOGMA, wouldn't believe in God or have God in his corner. Do you? God does laugh, despite all the bad PR He's received down through the centuries and still gets from various, "I will smite thee" religious teachings of certain religious institutions. Of course God laughs: He configured (however you like to believe it through evolutionary gyrations) Kevin Smith, didn't He? He reached down and inspired Kevin to be who Kevin is with his intuitive talents and gifts for being there before the new media revolution gets going? And He even twisted Kevin to His own way so that the guy is showing how he will BURN IN HELL! Now! Tell me! Is God angry at Kevin? Nah!!!
The guy is promoting the Almighty! You go Kev!!! DON'T THE PHELPS REALIZE THIS????? (inside joke...To understand, you'll have to see BURN IN HELL on EpixHD, February 11th).
