Various news outlet are reporting that the verdict in the Wesley Snipes tax fraud case brought by the IRS has been issued, and while Wesley is not completely in the clear (misdemeanor charges still pending) he has been found NOT GUILTY of tax fraud and conspiracy charges.

From the NYT:

Mr. Snipes was found not guilty on two felony charges of fraud and conspiracy. He was also acquitted on three misdemeanor charges of failing to file tax returns or to pay taxes, but was convicted on three others. He faces up to three years in prison

Wesley Snipes, an actor best known for his roles in the Blade Trinity, Murder at 1600, and Art of War to name a few.

Snipes had been facing 16 years in prison had he been found guilty of all charges.

We all hate paying taxes, but messing with the IRS is a bad move.
