Andy Dick Busted For Acting Like, Well, A Jerk
What, did you think I would go for the obvious line there?
Ustabee-comedian-turned-sad-drugged-up-junkie Andy Dick was arrested for, among other things, exposing and fondling the breasts of a minor:
Actor and comedian Andy Dick, who has a history of run-ins with the law, was arrested early Wednesday outside a Murrieta restaurant on suspicion of sexual battery and drug possession.Police said Dick, who was heavily intoxicated, grabbed and fondled the breast of a 17-year-old girl before pulling her top down in the parking lot of the Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar about 1:15 in the morning.
"The victim was traumatized by this," said Lt. Dennis Vrooman, spokesman for the Murrieta Police Department.
Police later found one gram of marijuana and one Xanax anti-anxiety pill in Dick's pocket. He was arrested and later released on $5,000 bail.
Buffalo Wild Wings? What, there was no Applebees open? Seriously, that stuff passes for haute cuisine here in the flyover states, but I thought people out there on the Left Coast only ate at lettuce and carrot bars.
This isn't the first time Andy has had a run-in with the law, or the second, or the third...
Seriously, I've seen so many stories about Andy Dick getting drugged up and/or drunk and doing stupid things that it really doesn't surprise me any more, but it does make me sad. He used to be somewhat funny, now he's just a sad caricature of himself. Let's hope his family or somebody that cares about him can get him to rehab before he really does some harm to himself.
But I do have to ask what a 17 y/o girl (and the friend she was with, according to the story another girl of unknown age) was doing out at one in the morning in the parking lot of a BWW? I'm NOT saying she was "asking for it", so don't leave me nasty comments. I'm just thinking that a teenager going up to talk to anyone they don't know in a parking lot at that hour of the night probably isn't a good idea.
