Aptly titled Spy vs. Sci, the internet activist group Anonymous have launched a new theme to correspond with their monthly global protests against the litany of abuses perpetrated by the organization currently fronting Scientology. Here are details from one of the local chapters of Anonymous about this weekend's "raids".

This July's protest will focus on the Church of Scientology's Office of Special Affairs, the organization's police force responsible for intimidating its critics. OSA's documented history of harassment, known as "Fair Game," is what has driven the protesters to take the name Anonymous — to protect themselves. Under Fair Game, OSA's staff is given authority by the Church of Scientology to harass its critics, including journalists and public officials, through legal and physical intimidation.

Scientology, like any other dangerous cult, is being exposed for what it is, not the glamorous answer to all of societies ills fronted by famous people like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, but rather a sinister money-making scheme designed for the sole purpose of defrauded its members, abusing its devout and destroying families.
