Anonymous Will Stage Anti-Scientology Protest At Katie Holmes Broadway Debut

The anti-Scientology group known as Anonymous plans to stage a public protest during the upcoming debut of Katie Holmes' new Broadway debut in October. Holmes, most famous now for her whirlwind marriage to world famous actor Tom Cruise, than her acting credits, will be starring in the Arthur Miller play "All My Sons," set to debut on October 16. Katie most certainly wants the world to know about her latest project, but Mrs. Tom Cruise may have more attention than she bargained for.

Unwanted negative attention is something the Church of Scientology has to be growing weary of as we enter the eighth month of global protests organized by the web-based group now known for remaining (A)nonymous and donning Guy Fawkes masks.

The internet activist group Anonymous
is going strong in its efforts to expose the abuses and corruption from within the controversial "religion." What began as a response to internet censorship by the Church of Scientology when they attempted to shut down a leaked video showing an unhinged Tom Cruise as he espoused the virtues of the pseudo-religion, has since become a growing movement. Since the first global protest which began this past February, Anonymous has staged monthly protests and waged an all out information campaign on the web to educate the masses to the true nature of Scientology.

Most of the free world is aware that Tom Cruise is an outspoken member of Scientology (an organization many consider a money-making cult). This is by design. Cruise has used his fame and status to promote his religion's ideals, including their desire to ban all psychiatric medicine and approved pharmaceuticals, most famously illustrated in his public war with actress Brooke Shields after she openly discussed her post-partum depression and the psych-drugs which she feel saved her life.
