Band Aid: Do They Know It's Christmas; And A Challenge To GlossLip Readers
Here's a blast from my past...I remember when this came out. Oh, just in case you were wondering, why yes...I AM an old fart.
What happened to George Michael? He used to be so hawt, in a kind of eighties pop sort of way. Look at that quintessential eighties hairdo! Simon Le Bon was hawt then too, but he's still hawt now. And watch for an almost unrecognizably skinny Bono without his sunglasses (gasp).
Okay, superficiality aside. This Christmas, especially, when times are so hard for so many, let us never forget that there's always somebody worse off than we are. All of us can do something to help someone else. A gift doesn't have to cost a lot of money, or even any money at all, it just has to come from the heart. Don't thank God it's them instead of you, because it IS you, and it's me, and it's all of us.
With that in mind, I'd like to issue a challenge to GlossLip readers. Please try to find at least one good thing to do for someone else, and then come back here and tell us about it so we can pass on that spirit of giving to others. This isn't about race or religion or political leanings or age or economic rank or social labels or any of the other things that divide us. This is simply about doing something good for someone else, just because you can.
