BTDub, this "creative" intervention is different from what her divorce lawyers pitched to Commissioner Scott Gordon last week. They are not involved in this one.
britcrylondon2.jpgI certainly hope that they can get her some sort of intensive treatment...as I said last night on BTRToday, I think that her seeing a psychiatrist (per the judge's orders) is a step in the right direction, but I'd rather see running to an inpatient facility.  The sudden emergence of her parents into the equation is good, but it could be a case of too little too late at this point.  Where have they been for the past several months?  Osmarmy's attempt to keep Anon away is probably the right thing to do, but what about his responsibility in this whole sordid mess?  Who's going to keep him away?

But here's the interesting part of this, to me...a couple of weeks ago I began my "Britney Experiment", where I charted her menstrual cycle for a month.  I wanted to see if her mental problems, allegedly bipolar disorder, were made worse by the hormonal swings of a woman's monthly cycle.  And, if you take a look at the calendar, last night was at the beginning of what I call the "no-no days", or the five-day window I gave to ovulation (generally on the 14th day, which in this case is January 30, tomorrow).  A woman's hormones can start to get wacky in that five-day window of time, which in this case began yesterday.  It has been shown that a woman's hormone fluctuations can heighten or worsen bipolar symptoms that already exist.  Coincidence?

A person who struggles with severe hormonal problems can get upsetting news at one part of the cycle and handle it okay, but get the same news at a different time and completely break down.  It all is dependent on timing.

My educated guess is that their best bet to talk Brit into whatever mental health intervention they are proposing would happen around Valentine's Day, when her hormones will settle back down.  But they may not want to wait another two weeks.  However, if her hormones and PMS continue to get worse in the next two weeks, that combined with bipolar symptoms may both make Brit incredibly unreceptive to any sort of help and worsen any public and/or private displays of erratic behavior.
