Britney Spears Does Damage Control, Fires Long Time Manager Larry Rudolph
 
There are substantial rumors that rehabbed pop singer Britney Spears has fired her on-again, off-again manager Larry Rudolph. Rudolph had been instrumental in building Britney's career to this point, but according to reports, the singer feels he's made some serious errors in judgment, including introducing her to media-hog Paris Hilton. If that's true, he does deserve to be fired.
Britney, still clinging to the idea that she is suffering from post-partum depression felt ambushed and mishandled when Rudolph, along with Britney's family, forced her into rehab back in February. All along Britney insisted her problems were not substance abuse related, but rather due to hormonal fluctuations that occur post-birth. Britney may be on to something. The flood of horomones and balancing of chemicals within the body after pregnancy can make you pretty loopy. But there's no doubt that Britney was self-medicating with alcohol and other drugs (illegal or prescription). And surely her marriage woes didn't help.
Britney recently re-hired her famous publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelick. There has been no official word yet on the firing.
