Has it really been a year? The time goes so quickly *sniff*. This kind of holds a special place for me because it was Britney and her disastrous VMA performance who facilitated, albeit indirectly, my introduction to writing at GlossLip. Thanks, Brit!
Regardless, it will be interesting to see what she does. I'd like to see her take a tongue-in-cheek look at her problems, show that she knows how to laugh at herself, and show that despite the year from Hell, she has the ability to bounce back, not only as a performer but as a human being. After all, that's the best thing we can aspire to...because at the end of the day, when the sparkly costumes come off and the makeup washes away and the lights go out, you're left with yourself, and if you are comfortable with you then the rest is just gravy. Brit seems to be doing a zillion times better than this time last year. Keep it up!
