Britney's Woes: Court Monitor Miffed, Photog Clipped, Backup Dancers Stiffed
Just another day in the life of Miss Britney Spears, y'all.
Where do we start? You'll recall that the original order was for Brit to have visitation about once every two days, all to be supervised by a monitor appointed by the court, who was to then take notes and report back to the judge. Brit successfully petitioned for one overnight visit a week, only to have all visits taken away in short order because of noncompliance with the judge's order (presumably, nobody could reach her). That was quickly enough remedied and Brit was spotted out this weekend with her kids and the monitor. But apparently, the monitor isn't as impressed by Brit and her paparazzi-loving lifestyle as Britney herself is, and turned in a scathing report to the judge:
The paperwork, filed under seal to LA Superior Court, claims that “[Spears, 25] paid her [monitor] no attention or respect at all, as if she were some employee whom she could blow off,†the source says.“Britney’s often distracted and in her own world when she has the kids [Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1] and has a hard time focusing,†the insider adds. “She is adamant that she doesn’t have to listen to anybody — that it’s her way or the highway."
Parenting sessions had previously been at Spears’ residence, the source says, but the coach now wants meetings to take place at her office. “She doesn’t want all the distractions, whether it’s the paparazzi or whatever else is going on,†the source says.
This report says that Brit is tired of dealing with old farts and white-boy rappers, and wants to be back in charge:
“Britney still believes that she, and only she, knows what’s best for her and her kids,†a source close to the custody battle between the Toxic singer and her ex-hubby Kevin Federline reveals to OK!. “She wants the boys living with her, without any outside monitor or coach interfering. She’s sick of dealing with lawyers and the court. She wants her old life back where she was in charge and telling everybody what to do.†Continued on the next page
