At the Hummel house, Jason says Deanna and Jon would "pretty much stay locked away like two teenagers. It was weird. He's a grown man."

He also adds, "A lot of the time, it was pretty, um, gross listening to her, you know, um — how do I say this? The walls are thin. Let’s just say that. I mean, no one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who's, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife. Ick. Nast."

My question in all of this tawdry business is: who's watching their eight children? If Jon is courting this young gal while Kate's away promoting her new book, then who's home nurturing and caring for their young children? Sure it's the nannies, but aren't these two adults — who've built a mini-empire on the premise of being hands-on parents who adhere to some kind of wholesome lifestyle, steeped in religious teachings — supposed to ACTUALLY be there for their kids?

Perhaps it's unfair to pass judgment on Jon and Kate based on tabloid speculation, but they did in fact swap their privacy for large sums of cash by putting their lives and that of their children on display. As we said before, if you live by the sword, then you must die by the sword. If any of this is true, and it does seem there is fire with this smoke, then how long until the entire facade of their "wholesome" lives comes crumbling down? Kate may be a raging shrew of a wife, but that doesn't give Jon the right to destroy his children's lives by publicly humiliating their mother and himself through reckless behavior.

Hopefully TLC will cancel this show and this family will be forced to deal with there sham of life and get the help they so desperately need...away from the glaring spotlight.
