Denise Richards Uses Specter Of Sex Abuse In Custody Battle With Ex-Charlie Sheen - Page 2
Therein lies my most egregious feelings towards celebs and tinsel town in general. I find is APPALLING that these people, whom for whatever reason are idolized and revered, treat relationships and marriage as disposable items to be discarded whenever the chips are down and the infatuation wears off. It's despicable, deplorable, disgusting so on, and so forth. Truly, this is at the very heart of my disdain (lots of d-words today) and why I rail so hard on celebs. Marriage is a hard enough job, we don't need those "on high" treating it with like recyclable goods. It's a job, it requires effort and it shouldn't be entered into lightly or exited with such little regard.
Throw some custody issues in the mix and you have the makings for plain ugliness.Â
The timing of Denise's claims are highly suspect. If she was concerned about this, it should have reared its ugly head long ago. While I am certainly not privy to the relationship that exists between Charlie and his daughters, these allegations seem motivated out of spite, rather than some kind of deep concern for the two little girls caught up in the middle of these two knuckleheads selfish behavior.Â
Without a doubt, Charlie's past is rife with sexual misconduct, but that doesn't mean he's a child molester or an abuser of his own children. Obviously, Denise couldn't resist plucking this low-hanging fruit and using it against him. What she fails to realize in her quest to destroy her ex-husband's reputation, is that her girls are the ones who will suffer most.Â
Daughters need their fathers. Period. It is essential for a healthy, close and demonstrative father/daughter relationship to be maintained if we want young girls to grow up into mature and responsible women. Our society and its overwhelming need to see something tawdry where it doesn't exist is why we have so many women with "daddy issues."Â
Denise, keep it up and those two little girls of yours will be working the stripper poles before you know it, falling victim to men far worse than your ex-husband.
