Now, I realize that in a divorce, there are always going to be two stories, and the truth lies somewhere in between. While we all might like to think we know Sir Paul, seeing as he is a musical icon, the truth is we don't truly know him...we just know what he lets us see. And we know even less about Heather, although she talks so much that we ought to know everything from what she had for dinner last night to what brand of toilet paper she buys. Could there be some truth to what she says? Well, her name is Heather, her ex's name is Paul, so those two things are correct at least.
While she does make a few good points, she doesn't realize that how you say something (or how many times you say something) is as important as what you say. I have a feeling that neither Sir Paul nor Heather are quite the monsters the press has made them out to be. However, I'm sure there are things that went on in their marriage that, should they be made known, would be embarrassing for both of them...although, at this point, I'm not sure what else we could learn that we haven't already. I mean, the woman Never. Shuts. Up. From everything I've read about her, she is a controlling, manipulative, lying b*tch (remember her impersonating that journalist named...Heather Mills?). She likes publicity, and she goes for it in very bizarre ways. Really, these tirades (yes, there were more than one, on different stations) just made her look ridiculous.
The more Heather talks, the worse she makes herself look. Paul has taken the high road here and said very little about his divorce, while it seems that every time you turn around Heather is doing some sort of interview and ranting about this or that. I don't think Sir Paul is above using his fame to spin some facts, but I also don't think Heather is above doing the same. I know she is currently walking around needing surgery on her pelvis (the screws in it came undone, presumably when she was shooting Dancing With The Stars), and I hope the best for that, but that doesn't mean anything in a divorce settlement. I mean, people walk around in pain, needing surgery, and/or with prosthetic limbs every day, yet it isn't brought up in every conversation or referred to in every injustice. We shouldn't feel more sympathy for her because of a physical problem...people with physical disabilities can be jerks too.
