Internet Authority Google Prefers Xenu.Net Over Scientology.Org
Page ranks are excellent indicators of how well regarded you are by search engines, and the sophisticated algorithms they use to determine the quality of your websites content. This is not universally true, as there are some highly ranked sites which aren't worth their weight in pixels, but in general a higher the rank, the better, more authoritative the site. Rankings are between 1 and 10, 10 being the highest authority.
This is not a static indicator either, Google routinely updates its stats and adjusts page ranks accordingly — sometimes this can be the death knell of a site. A page rank result, like search engine returns, will decide how much traffic you receive and how high your page comes up in Google News or Google search. If your page rank goes down, this directly affects how many people see your site when doing any kind of search for content.
In light of all the controversy going back and forth between those who oppose Scientology and those who support it, why not compare these sites to see what the highest authority in the land of the internets have to say: Google.
Search returns are difficult to compare and far less concise, where as page ranks offer an clear and easy to see answer. Using a tool like Page Rank Checker, here's what we discovered.
