GRACE: Which is?

PADILLA: . findings. And also the dumpster, a mile and a quarter down from the boyfriend Tony`s house, is going to play a big part in this.

GRACE: What do you say in response to Miss Anthony?

PADILLA: She`s living in total denial.
And it ain't just a river in Egypt, folks.  Makes you wonder just what it is they know and how they're going to try and spin it.

Look, I can sit here and say if I were in this situation and it were my granddaughter, I'd do blah and blah and blah.  But the reality is that until I am in this situation (and I pray I never am), I don't know what I'd do.  I understand Cindy wanting to believe her daughter and wanting to believe the little granddaughter she loves is still alive.  But there comes a point when you've got to sit down and face facts.  Casey is presenting herself as a mentally ill, possibly psychopathic, disturbed, emotionless, selfish, self-centered, self-absorbed baby killer, who thought nothing of partying and living it up instead of reporting their toddler missing (oh, I forgot, she was conducting her own investigation).  Cindy, for her part, originally told the 911 operator that the car smelled like a dead body had been in it, berated her daughter in jailhouse calls for not going to the police sooner with what had happened, then flip flopped and said the smell came from rotting pizza and her daughter might be a liar but basically she's a good person.

From day one all they've done is talk, talk, talk.  There's been no walk to back it up.  It doesn't take much to take a squeezy thing and write on your vehicle.  They've not been out searching for their granddaughter, they've not been front and center looking, they've not lifted a finger to help either the police or EquuSearch find little Caylee, but they've certainly done their fair share of condemning and criticizing the search effort.  All they've done is complain about how nobody is looking for Caylee, yet they themselves aren't out there searching.  And why call EquuSearch anyway, if the family knows that Casey gave Caylee to somebody:

Tim Miller said he's upset because Cindy Anthony keeps saying there is evidence Caylee is alive and was given to a friend. If that's the case, he wonders why she called and asked for his help and wonders why he should continue searching.
