A couple weeks back Glosslip posted an exclusive breaking story about arrests at the Church of Scientology compound in Hemet, California called Gold Base. High profile Scientology critic and Emmy-award winning journalist Mark Bunker was subjected to a "citizen's arrest" executed by Riverside sheriff's deputies for essentially "meandering" too long in front of the gate. Bogus indeed.

What is not bogus however is the connections between Riverside County Commissioner Jeff Stone and the Church of Scientology. Investigative reporter Nathan Baca for ABC affiliate station KESQ dug deeper into the hows and why of a recent proposal to ban all public protests outside the compound. Please watch both videos for a revealing look at what Scientology is trying to hide and how Commissioner Stone is complicit in covering up the illegal actions of the Scientology organization.

The report also includes an incredibly awesome interview with Scientology spokesperson Tommy Davis. Talk about squirming. Nathan Baca deserves some serious kudos and footrubs for his brave reporting. Dude, word of advice, watch your back. Scientology's only good a one thing, harassing critics.
