The Mystery Of Caylee Anthony's Disappearance Continues, Web Of Lies Grows Wild - Page 5
"She's [Casey] been wanting to cooperate with authorities; she just doesn't trust the local authorities. She would be willing to speak with the FBI," Cindy Anthony tells WESH.com.
Nearly 200 people attend a vigil at the Anthony family home to honor Caylee.
July 28 – Casey Anthony's brother visits her in jail.
Having all this information in one place makes it seem quite clear to me, that Casey, jealous of all the attention and affection bestowed on her child, grew resentful. Many in the media, including medical professionals and criminal investigators have asserted Casey Anthony suffers from narcissistic tendencies and displays a tremendous amount of selfishness in her actions and motives. Reading her MySpace passages, her mother's MySpace passages (now deleted of course) it's pretty obvious these two women had a tumultuous relationship, filled with mutual bouts of love and hate.
In my opinion, and again, this is merely my opinion Casey Anthony disposed of her daughter in one way or another, either by giving her away to someone, or as I believe, killing her as a way of getting back at her mother for what Casey deems as a betrayal of affection. What is unclear at this point, is how involved the family is in covering up Casey's actions. Their fork-tongued statements to the media bely some major internal conflict and confusion. On one hand, they KNOW Casey knows more than she is letting on, but on the other hand, they are still clinging to the notion Caylee is still alive.
I, sadly and rather distraughtly, feel Caylee's life has been cut short at the hands of a disturbed, self-involved and deeply selfish mother. I pray I am wrong and will gladly eat my words should we all be delighted to see Caylee's vibrant smile again after being found alive.
This is a symptom of our society and what happens when parents forget their role as shepherd and disciplinarian to their children. If you don't teach them the difference between right and wrong, lies and truth, fact and fiction - the consequences are pretty predictable.
