Vegas, His Highness Hollywood, Scientology....Oh My!
We are here in Vegas for the 2nd annual New Media and BlogWorldExpo. Today is booth set up day for us and I can't wait to see our space. BlogWorldExpo is an amazing convergence of new media, emerging trends and how they affect each other. Blogcritics and Glosslip are super excited to be participating with our new parent company Technorati at this year's expo — AND Glosslip is partnering with Ian "His Highness Hollywood" Halperin to screen his hilarious and riveting film His Highness Hollywood. The film which details Halperin, a NYT bestselling author who specializes in undercover expose, as he poses as a gay member of the Israeli royalty infiltrating the seedy underbelly of Hollywood and finds himself a target of the cult of Scientology.
Ian, who is frequently featured in creme de le tabloids, got a shout out this week from the NYPost for a Fidel Castro story detailing the Cuban leader's dalliances with the ladies (a whopping number of 35,000). We will DEFINITELY be asking him about that :) Check out Ian's blog here.
Ian and Glosslip will be partnering tomorrow to screen the film, His Highness Hollywood at the opening day of the BWE. If you are in town for the conference and want to see this great film, please stop by our booth #321 for an invitation. The screening begins at 5:00 and there will be refreshments and a Q&A immediately after the film.
