Singer Pink Injured During Concert In Germany
Singer/songwriter Pink was injured during her Nurnberg, Germany show last night after she slipped out of a harness and fell on a steel barricade.
Pink had performed the same stunt during the Grammy's earlier this year, where she was suspended by a harness above the stage while performing the song "Glitter in the Air." The concert ended abruptly after the accident and Pink communicated with her fans via Twitter, including apologizing her Nurnberg fans:
"to all my nurnberg fans...I am embarassed and very sorry. I'm in ambulance now but I will b fine."
"didn't get clipped in2 harness correctly, drug me off stage, fell in2 barricade"
"nothings broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore. I made that barricade my b*tch!!! Thanx nurnberg :("
Well, no one can accuse Pink of not having a sense of humor, or, of being not being a tough ass chick! Pink's husband, motorcross pro Carey Hart followed up on Pink's prognosis on his own Twitter account: "already out of the hospital" and "all good. Just got the s*** kicked out of her by the barrier."
Get better soon Pink, and maybe try singing with both feet on the ground!
Update, video of incident, via DListed:
It looks more like Pink was launched off the stage into the barricade before she was properly attached to the harness, as opposed to falling. Those backup dancers better watch their backs. Pinks does NOT play.
