Junk by Jean SandersThere is little attention to the hazardous waste from technological advances or the causes it can have on the environment. There has been a development of environmentalist focusing on various aspects of information, tools, knowledge, and universal education to the public.

Environmentalists travel the globe passing an education for all individuals to do his or her part in cleaning up the leftovers of advancement in an effort to preserve different regions of life. With only a dozen success stories from around the globe, the environmentalist are probably highly agitated; however, the environmentalists continue to preserve our beautiful Earth.

The Success Stories

The globe has high priority cleanup sites. The sites that are of a higher priority consist of many levels of toxins, and some sites (the governments) actually denied a problem existing. However, in the technologies and advancements, environmentalists have given governments and individuals the information to be proactive within regions of the globe, to begin the baby steps of having a clean environment.

The success stories are only a dozen cases out of many cities that need to be cleaned up. These stories should give us all hope of being able to do our part, or at least understand all regions must become proactive to avert further devastating impacts to the quality of life.

The success stories come from Accra (Ghana), Candelaria (Chile), Chernobyl, Delhi, Haina, (Dominican Republic), Kalimantan (Indonesia), Old Korogwe (Tanzania), Rudnaya Pristan Region (Russia), Shanghai, and West Bengal (India). These locations have not had endless funds of currency, but still acknowledged their issues to be effectively address the causes to clean up the environment; all populations should follow these examples.
