 Airline Seating

It seems like every week airlines are charging new fees. Continental Airlines is the next airline to jump on the concept of charging for exit row seating.

The amount of extra leg room varies by the size of the aircraft, but ranges anywhere from 7 to 10 inches. The cost will depend on various factors including the length of the flight and even the day of the week you are traveling. A flight from Newark to Houston might cost an extra $59.

Customers can make the decision at the time of purchasing the ticket, or upon check in if there are still unreserved seats. One Pass Elite frequent flyers can still reserve these seats at no additional charge.
