How Not To Discuss Obama On Facebook

FacebookDrunk pictures. Overposting. There are many ways one can misuse Facebook to repel your friends and loved ones' interest. And then there's asking people whether or not Obama should be murdered. Also a poor idea.

A spokesman for the secret service told the Agence France-Presse about the poll, "Once we found out about it, we worked with Facebook to have it removed." It's nice to know the Secret Service is protecting our freedoms by scouring Facebook quizzes. (Did they query the results of the "How much of a terrorist are you?" quiz?)

AFP also says about 750 respondents participated in the online poll before Facebook took it down. This begs the tongue-in-cheek question what were the results? Hey, I'm just curious.

If there was undying faith in humanity, everyone should have said "no," but that certainly wouldn't have been the case. This is one of those times when a very sad occurrence (saying "Yes, please assassinate Obama") can be combated with an another terrible invention.

Here's my idea. Reinstate the poll. Only anybody who answers "yes" gets their computer infected with malware. But have it so that control of your computer is instead given to an underprivileged schoolchild. Everyone who deserves to win, does so.
