Obama's Thiiis Close To Rogue Status
So, hey, here's a fun coincidence. (Well, fun depending your side of the fence.)
The latest Gallup findings put President Obama's job approval rating at 47 percent approve, 46 percent disapprove. Based on this one poll, it's the closest he's ever been to having more citizens critical of him than laudatory.
Then there's author and distinguished camera (and deer) hunter Sarah Palin, who has experienced wobbly popularity during her book tour. A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation had her as low as 39 percent earlier this year. But the latest numbers? 46 percent favorable, 46 percent unfavorable.
(Three percent have never heard of Palin. They really have to stop polling C.H.U.D.s for such matters.)
So what does this mean: that Palin would have been as popular a vice president as Obama is a president? Is this apple more delicious, or would you like this juicy orange? It probably means that the former Alaska governor was better off being on the losing presidential ticket, because there was no way she would have been any more popular than she is today.
