And now your host, Paranoia:

Folks, there is something in this world that is scarier than the prospect of World War 3, only slightly less hot than Courtney Cox thinks she is over in Cougar Town and more of a threat to the nation than Global Warming and removing evolution from science books. What is this mega-threat? Why, it's Sarah Palin of course. That much was indicated in the title.

Before now, Sarah Palin was a minor annoyance at best. No matter how much the news outlets want to make us think she's been an important factor in anything other than McCain losing the election, she hasn't been. What she has been however, is a giant floating head of MILF hotness drilling a hole of stupid in our brains.

While she hasn't been an "important" factor, she's certainly been a factor. Thanks to her legs, her sexy librarian look, she is also quickly becoming the public face of the Republican party whether they want her to or not. This at least shows some moxie on her part (yes, I said "moxie") to put herself out there no matter what the critics (and there are many) think. She knows she's built for the job. Whatever that job is. If it's stripper, I've got a handful of ones.

Now there are rumors that she might replace Michael "foot-in-mouth" Steele as the head of the Republican National Committee. Keep in mind these are just rumors - for now. However, you know what they say about rumors. They're true. If not now, soon she will be the official face of the GOP party, and not just its unleashed poodle parading around the country.

While Palin isn't always the sharpest crayon in the box, or even the smartest, she's successful as hell. She's the top fundraiser and endorser of the Republican party. Period. She brings in the crowds and she brings in the dough. That kind of clout can't be ignored; she's basically a superstar PR person for the GOP.

The problem is, she has opinions and isn't afraid to share them with the public, no matter how controversial or unpopular they may be. While I commend her for having the girl balls to do so, one can tell the GOP gets a little wary when she gets up in front of a crowd. In order to woo more voters and support from the other side, her looks alone won't do it. Her words are going to have to as well.
