What Trump’s Endorsement Is Going To Do For Romney?

Donald Trump endorses Romney, Donald retracts it, Donald endorses Gingrich, Donald denies AP news of his endorsement of Gingrich, Donald endorses Romney—Wow! Did he need all that to prove that he is the ultimate clown? And what does his endorsement mean anyway?
Thus ABC broke the news : If you ask Donald Trump, his endorsement is the most coveted in the race for the GOP presidential nomination. But he may be the only one who thinks so.
Despite Trump’s claim that “millions of people are waiting” for his endorsement and that “everybody wants it,” polling shows that few voters will be swayed by the real estate mogul’s pledge of support, which he gave to Mitt Romney on Thursday.
Nearly two-thirds — 64 percent – of likely Republican voters say Trump’s support has no impact on their vote, according to a Pew Research poll released last month.
So why is this hoopla about endorsement of a guy who never has a good-hair-day? Well, my friends, exactly the reason I call this GOP presidential nomination nothing more than a media circus! Please check this out, “In an interview with CNN last April, Trump dismissed Romney as a ‘small business guy’ and suggested Bain Capital, the venture capital firm where Romney made his millions, had bankrupted companies and destroyed jobs.”
ABC say, endorsement does not mean much these days, not even if that comes from the likes of Grand Old man John McCain, Tea Party queen Sarah Palin or Serial Sexual harasser, Herman Cain. They also mention that Ron Paul, despite the support of big name celebrities such as Vince Vaughn, Kelly Clarkson, Barry Manilow and Snoop Dogg, is languishing in the poll.
Larry Sabato, the director of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics said that if anyone’s endorsement matters at all it is that of Ron Paul himself, and I could not agree more.
In spite of my contrary viewpoints, I admire Ron for his integrity, and his passion for preaching what he believes in. He has fervently upheld his core principles and he is one of the rare politicians who has no baggage despite his long career in politics. His supporters are also dedicated and equally passionate, and more likely to fallow his call.
On the other hand, responding to a Pew poll nearly 20 percent said that they would actually be less likely to support a Trump-backed candidate. And--hold your thoughts--a full one-third, responding to a September Fox poll, stated that they would be less likely to vote for a candidate that Trump endorses.
Media circus folks, that’s all it is!
