Are you bombarded by the tremendous flood of tweets in your Twitter stream? Soon, there will be a solution to eliminate the noise and get the links from your Twitter stream.

Feedtrace is a new service that filters the links from all your incoming tweets. After logging in, Feedtrace shows you a sidebar of all the popular links on Twitter. You can use a filter to show only the top links of those that you follow on Twitter. Another filter available allows you to filter by domain.

When you click on a link, the sidebar slides away from view to show the Web page. Feedtrace does not open up a new URL, thus keeping you on their site. This doesn't allow you to bookmark the URL or copy the URL to be shared elsewhere. You can copy the link from the sidebar though.

Feedtrace makes it handy to find other users who are tweeting about the same link. After clicking on a link, you can click on the Buzz tab to find others who shared the link. Additionally, Feedtrace offers a suggestion on who to follow based on the link you clicked.

The Feedtrace interface is simple and clutter-free. This is beneficial as it will not hinder your browsing experience. However, they need to show from which Twitter accounts shared the links. This will allow easier recognition.

Feedtrace is currently in closed beta mode. You can request invites from their home page.
