Google Friend Connect Rolls Out New Features

Google rolled out additional features to their Friend Connect service today that presents some interesting ways to help blog owners and website editors create micro-communities around brands.

It's no secret that social media has made it easier for us to connect with family across a distance, co-workers and business associates. It's also helped us connect with people that we never would have connected with. Google Friend Connect hopes to take things a step further by not only enabling website or blog owners to showcase followers, but more importantly, allows them to ask that captive audience specific questions that in essence, will help building a stronger micro-community.
