Google Unleashing Multiple Account Sign-ins
Most bloggers who have been at it for awhile probably have a handful of sites they are working with. In fact, they might use separate emails for different blogs they write for. Keeping tabs on it all can be a headache and figuring out which one to log-in with can be just as daunting at times.
For bloggers who are heavy Googlers, at least one headache seems to be going away — being able to sign-in to multiple accounts.
The company is testing multiple sign-ins only for Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Reader, Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Code so far. However, if successful, it's more than likely that other Google services will be added when the feature is unleashed upon the public.
For users who do have multiple Google accounts and who want to use one with a service that this feature isn't connected to yet, it will default to the first account that you signed in using your browser.
The work around, according to Google, is to use a different browser, though you can use Chrome's incognito mode to sign-in to an additional Google account.
Multiple sign-in allows Gmail users to to open their email in multiple tabs, log in with different accounts and read the messages from all your accounts without opening another browser. Lastly, Gmail's offline mode is disabled if you turn on multiple sign-in.
Will you use multiple log-ins?
