Twitter Offers You Suggestions
One of the things about Twitter is that weeding through the millions of users to find those that are relevant to your content needs can be a tedious task. Yes, you can follow everyone, but that won't do you any good.
What if you had some personalized suggestions?
Well, Twitter is rolling out a new feature called “Suggestions for You” that provides you personalized recommendations of users that you might want to follow. You can find the new feature under the “Find People” link in the header of Twitter.com.
According to Mashable, Twitter said that the suggestions are based on several factors, including people you follow and the people they follow. Additionally, per the report, users will also see recommendations when looking at other users' profiles. It'll also be coming to third party apps as well.
Earlier this month, Twitter started displaying people results next to keyword search results. This, of course, is an effort to help users discover more people to follow.
There once was a feature called suggested user lists, but it was scrapped in favor of a slew of follow options by area of interest.
What do you think of the service? Has it rolled out for you yet?
