Derek Jeter Will Play a Homeless Man in Will Ferrell Movie
Derek Jeter's status as an iconic athlete is unquestioned. He's won championships, he plays for possibly the most historic professional sports franchise and has a career full of signature moments.
What we've never seen much of from Jeter, however, is anything but the polished, always saying-the-right-thing spokesman for about 100 different products. His quotes to the media are carefully crafted and, although we always seem to know who he's dating, we don't know much beyond that.
Well, we might get to see a slightly different side to Jeter in the new Will Ferrell comedy, The Other Guys. Jeter will make a cameo in the movie as a homeless man.
The movie, about two second-rate police officers reportedly, has a star-studded cast around Ferrell and Jeter, with Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson all appearing.
