If you thought Dan Gilbert's open letter to Cleveland Cavaliers' fans regarding the departure of their former King, LeBron James, was all you was going to hear, you were wrong.

Moments after issuing the open letter to his team's fans, Gilbert went on a phone interview with the Associated Press and had more to say about the King who renounced his crown and kingdom.

"He quit," Gilbert said. "Not just in Game 5, but in Games 2, 4 and 6. Watch the tape. The Boston series was unlike anything in the history of sports for a superstar."

Gilbert continued, saying LeBron quit against Orlando in 2009 as well.

"Go back and look at the tape," he said. "How many shots did he take?"

He also went to reveal that he never heard from LeBron directly and that he never returned Gilbert's phone calls or text mesages since the Cavaliers lost to the Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals. In fact, Gilbert was not informed until one of LeBron's inner circle buddies called with the news.

"It's not about him leaving," Gilbert said. "It's the disrespect. It's time for people to hold these athletes accountable for their actions. Is this the way you raise your children? I've been holding this all in for a long time."

Makes the speculation now grow on how comfortable this relationship between the two really was. Either way, this will not be repaired anytime soon, and LeBron has already vaulted himself to the 2nd most hated man in Cleveland behind Art Modell.

However, while James has not responded to Gilbert's comments yet, his new teammate and good friend Dwyane Wade already responded and was very surprised by the verbal attack:

"I think I'm happy that I have the owner that I have here in Miami," Wade told The Associated Press late Thursday night. "I'm happy Micky Arison is my owner. I couldn't believe it. I'm speechless. It's very unfortunate and I think it makes LeBron that much better about his decision.

"We knew 'Bron would take some backlash," Wade added in his interview with AP. "I told him he's a strong man for it."

Sorry NFL fans, the NBA drama might be lasting all the way until the start of training camp.
