It's the final article in our Golf Gift Guides Series and we have changed things up to feature gifts over $200. The holidays are a great time to save on some of the biggest purchases you can make for a golfer. As retailers try to unload their 2011 inventory, take advantage and make your money, regardless of how much your spending, go as far as possible.

If you have over $200 spend, you could go in a number of directions. You may consider visiting our previous Golf Gift Guide suggestions and buy a few small gifts or, If you want to go for "the big one", these suggestions should get you going in the right direction.

Five Golf Gifts Over $200

1. A Golf GPS: When I worked in the golf shop the GPS was one of the most popular products... it was also expensive. I have the SkyCaddie SGX which is great for me. It has a large screen and a joystick which makes it easy to get around. If you're looking for a touch screen the Golf Buddy World Platinum or Golf Buddy World are some of the best in the industry. Cost varies but expect to pay around $300.

2. A Rangefinder: The competition for the Golf GPS, this device is in the same price range but requires no technical knowledge. Simply aim at your target, look through, press the button an you have your yardage. There are several brands out there from Bushnell, Callaway (made by Nikon) and Leupold. While I think the Leupold is the best, the Bushnell Tour V2 Patriot Pack would make a great gift. These start around $300.

3. A New Driver: Forget a puppy this season and go with the "Big Dog". A new driver under the tree is sure to make any golfer smile. Like most clubs, consult with the receiver of the gift before buying, it's likely they have one in mind. If you really want to make it special, pay for the fitting and the driver. In my opinion everyone should go through the fitting process before buying clubs, especially a driver. Like all golf clubs you have many choices but the Taylormade R11 with a white clubhead is sure to be the most popular. I've seen it on sale for $299.
