Jason Kidd Initiates Contact, Gets Atlanta Coach Mike Woodson T'ed Up
Jason Kidd has always been a savvy player, but he may have taken it to a new level Saturday against the Hawks.
Trailing by two late in the game, Kidd was dribbling upcourt, about to call timeout when he noticed Hawks coach Mike Woodson standing a bit on the court, yelling instructions to a player.
Kidd plowed into Woodson, forcing the officials to call a technical foul on Woodson for being out of the coaching box and cutting the Hawks lead to one. The Mavs ended up winning in overtime.
