Own Goals Can Be Adorable

When professional athletes make mistakes, they are berated and ostracized. When the same mistakes happens to a little kid, it immediately enters the pantheon of precious memories.

Via Fark comes this gem in the home movie video library:

This brings up one of my hot button issues. It's one thing if such an occasion is captured on TV. But home movies are the bane of any child growing up. I for one am glad I didn't grow up in the YouTube generation: blowing bubbles in chocolate milk and Christmas moments would've become online lore.

I'm not saying this is as bad as kiddie porn ... but sometimes I wonder if kids like this amateur goalie really had a cognizant choice of whether or not this made YouTube.
