Tiger Woods Now Facing HGH Allegations
Tiger Woods has spent the last two weeks desperately trying to crawl out of the news cycle, while mistresses keep coming forward and endorsements keep stepping back.
All the while, though, the infidelity allegations against Woods have little to do with Tiger the athlete, who is arguably the most dominant regardless of sport of this generation and is probably going to go down as the best golfer of all time.
This latest report, however, could be a tad more damaging. It may not be as interesting to US Magazine, but revelations that a doctor who treated Woods is now being investigated in a performance-enhancing drug probe will certainly cause his legitimacy as an athlete, rather than his legitimacy as a husband, to come into question.
Woods' agent said this about the story, first reported by the New York Times:
"I would really ask that you guys don't write this? If Tiger is NOT implicated, and won't be, let's please give the kid a break."
The doctor has denied providing PEDs to any athletes, but Tiger's impressive physique compared to other golfers has certainly made him a target in the past of the ever-prevalent PED whispers that plague professional sports.
