Turkish Undelight: Hedo's Had It With Canada

Why Hedayet suddenly got irked? That's nobody's business but the Turks. Fortunately, some people know other people who can translate into English.

Toronto Raptors multimillionaire Hedo "Ball" Turkoglu went back to his native land of Turkey and discussed in an NBA studio (Turkey has an NBA studio?) that he's really pissed and wants a trade after being benched and rumored to have been up all night partying before some pivotal regular-season games. Was he referring to this video?

Well, no he wasn't. We're not that fortunate in life.

Last summer Turkoglu walked away from $7.3 million with the Orlando Magic (and boy, did they ever need each other), as well as a contract offer from the Portland Trail Blazers, to sign a massive $53 million contract with the Raps. Currently $44 million of that is still left on his shoulders.

All that weight could explain the 31-year-old forward having his worst season statistically in five years. And after one year in America's hat, he's already unhappy. It's certainly not unreasonable for Orlando to want him back after seeing how they stink without him, and I'm sure some team out there would rather commandeer that contract instead of signing LeBosh Wadejohnson.
