Not to be outdone by 13 seed Murray State, the 14th-seeded Ohio University Bobcats put on a show of their own. The team that pulled themselves from mediocrity to MAC Tournament champions earlier this month broke the record that Butler had just set hours before by making 13 three-pointers.

The Bobcats, led by transfer Armon Bassett and conference freshman of the year DJ Cooper, opened the game on a 7-2 run and only trailed for one minute and three seconds and led by as many as 19 points en route to a 97-83 domination of No. 3 seed Georgetown.

All in all, five double digit seeds won on the first day of the tournament. The current record for number of wins by those teams in the first round is six, which could very easily be broken by teams like Wofford, Cornell, Siena, Houston...heck, maybe even Arkansas-Pine Bluff. They're on a roll, right?
