What's going on with the TBS Baseball Announcers?
TBS's Chip Caray has taken heat this entire postseason for errors he's made broadcasting games, culminating with a hilarious fake Twitter page.
Color commentator Ron Darling, however, has received mostly high marks for sticking to the game despite the inadequacies of his partner. Out of the booth, however, Darling has his own problems:
Tax agencies in two states and the IRS have former New York Mets pitcher and TBS analyst Ron Darling caught in a squeeze play. Darling, who helped call the Yankees-Twins game Sunday, owes $544,197 in state and federal taxes, records show.
Darling and TBS declined to comment to the Detroit News, who reported the story.
