hp

Two electrical engineering graduates from Standford University were the founders of Hewlett-Packard, which is commonly known as HP.

Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard initially started HP in Packard’s garage in 1939 with a start up capital of $538.

It was in August 1947 when HP was integrated and had set out for public offering on November 1957.

Today, Hewlett-Packard is one of the leaders in manufacturing and developing data storage, designing software, computing and networking hardware.


HP usually promotes its products to small, medium-sized enterprises and businesses and to households as well.

Some of HP's major products include enterprise servers, imaging products, desktop computers, related storage devices, and assorted printers.
