steve jobs
Steven Paul Jobs has become a brand unto himself. Serving as the CEO of both Apple, Inc. and Pixar Animation Studios, Jobs was listed as Fortune Magazine's "Most Powerful Businessman" in 2007. Then, in 2009 he was named "CEO of the Decade" by Forbes magazine. Indeed, Jobs has been the driving force behind everything from the blockbuster movie Cars to the iPod to iTunes to iPhone Ringtones.
When Jobs is at the helm of Apple, the company flourishes. When he is not, the company struggles. Just having his name associated with Apple has helped their stock price. This incredible sway that Jobs seems to have on ideas he gets involved with has been termed by some as "The Steve Jobs Effect."
Pretenders to the throne soon realized you just can't be more Catholic than The Pope. When it comes to computers and technology, Steve Jobs is without peer. He has a devoted following unlike anyone else in the business world. Even the great Bill Gates does not have the charisma and support that Steve Jobs enjoys.
