wildlife
Ah, wildlife. Our term for everything that isn't manmade, wildlife is generally found far away from our cities and highways, frolicking (or crawling, or just swaying in the breeze) happily with little need for human interaction.
Many of us find inspiration and renewal in the natural world. That inspiration is reflected on the blogosphere as photos, essays, art, videos, more photos and photo essays (did I mention photos?), all of which attempt to capture and share some of that inspiration.
In recent decades, the environmentalist movement has made strides toward protecting many of the endangered species in our world. But human progress continues, and wildlife suffers from reduced habitat and resources. On this page, along with all the lovely photos, you'll also find conservation news, reports of interactions between wildlife and humans, and discussions of wildlife preservation.
