Droid Incredible OTA Update Starts Hitting Handsets
It's been rumored for a couple of days that the an OTA update would be coming today for the Droid Incredible, but you know how these rumors are.
Well, this one just moved out of rumor into the world of reality. Droid Life is reporting that the update has been hitting handsets, and users to the site are confirming that they're getting it too, though at a spotty rate.
The update adds 720p recording ability to the phone, a new animation at boot up, Skype, and the ability to turn the phone into a mobile hotspot (though that costs an additional $20 a month.)
No telling how long the rollout will take, and no news on when Android 2.2 will be coming, but it's still a pretty sweet update.
