Report: The Google Phone Is Coming Soon

If you are still figuring out which Android device is a better bet than the iPhone, ponder no more. Google has given enough hints that its vision for the ultimate in communication devices, Google Phone, would be out soon, according to Michael Arrington of TechCrunch.
This spells clear good news for users, who always thought that there was something missing in the Android phones, that they were Google, but not the real deal. The real deal is what people should expect with the Google phone. That would be the time when you can start kissing your HTCs, Huaweis, Samsung, Motorola, Acer, Archos, Dell, Lenovo, LG, Sony or Philips Android phones goodbye.
The News is Out
As reported by Arrington, confirmed sources tell him that Google will be coming up with this phone sometime in early 2010. It will be manufactured by a major player but the branding will be all Google.
Regarding the features of the phone, the facts (mostly rumors), are very murky and unclear, so we would not dwell into that. As far as our expectations go, it should, apart from having great ergonomics and transmission clarity, have fully integrated Google Voice, make Video Calling a habit, and should search when you shout at it. The last one being my personal favorite.
Pricing and Further Details
There is no news about the possible pricing yet, but we at Technorati would surely keep an eye out. So wait for it, and keep some money handy.
