Anonymous is back at it again.

The hacker collective has stepped up their game this time, recording a conference call between the FBI and Scotland Yard.  The call, made on January 17th, lasted 16 minutes, as both parties discussed ongoing investigations into hackers associated with Anonymous and connected groups like LulzSec and AntiSec.

Anonymous made the call available to all through an mp3, and posted it to YouTube, along with various other sites. The “hacktivists” also obtained a confidential email discussing the parameters of the conference call.

The FBI and Scotland Yard confirmed the breach to TPM, stating,

“The information obtained on the call was intended for law enforcement only. It was illegally obtained and a FBI criminal investigation is underway.”

Anonymous recently received coverage for their attacks on the websites of the FBI, MPAA, RIAA, UMG, and various other corporations who supported the SOPA/PIPA bills in Congress, which — in part due to Anonymous, but mainly the worldwide online protests — were subsequently killed.
