Blog Focus is Technorati's daily roundup of the top stories as told by the bloggers of the world. Each day a handful of posts, no matter how popular or nascent, will be selected by editors to portray a general unscientific reaction to discussion points around the 'Net. 

Eh... c'mere.

Yeah, you.  Puttering your time away at work, pretending to hone in on that conference call while trying to flip paper clips into your "Q3 Hero" coffee mug.  Come here.  I got somethin' you're gonna love.  

Yeah, apparently there's this thing on the Internet called "video" which is totally entertaining and everyone wants in on it.  And the blogs are ALL over it today.  So if you want to say something smart in the conference call, check out these chatterings while Harry from Accounting drones on about amortizing his pivot tables or what not.

Then you'll be able to chime in with, "Hey, have you heard the latest on the Internet about video?"  And you can earn that "Q4 Hero" mug and set up a paper clip target gallery.

Just remember: the first video's always free.

Technologizer — Because we're not over talking about Windows 7 yet, Harry McCracken must point out that Microsoft has pulled out of sponsoring a "Family Guy" special after finding out they say naughty things about taboo subjects on the show.  Probably one of those times someone should have listened to Clippy.  ("I see you're writing a contract to promote Windows 7 on 'Family Guy'.  Can I help you by crashing out Word and corrupting your registry until you sober up?")

Mashable — MySpace might be working a deal with Facebook to share all its video and audio content with Facebook in order to stay relevant, according to Adam Ostrow.  ("I see you're losing relevance in the social networking space.  Can I help you by connecting you to a Facebook executive via Windows Live Meeting?")
